Need a blackhead extractor? Everyone knows what it feels like to peer in the mirror and see blackheads running rampant on his or her face. They are most likely to discolor the nose and chin, creating dark and enlarged pores that can be seen from several feet away.

This can be both embarrassing and irritating trying to cover up. It is pretty common knowledge that good hygiene is very effective in preventing blackheads in the first place, but once you get them, what is the best way to get rid of them?

bruise and marks from using a blackhead extractor?

I used a metal blackhead extractor tool 3 nights ago.
I used it properly (I sterilized it, steamed my face to open pores) but ended up pressing pretty hard on my nose to try to get the stubborn ones.
The next morning, my nose was covered in sore red marks.
Now the redness is starting to fade, but it’s still sore. And the skin looks like it’s going to scab or peel.

What should I do now? Thanks for any thoughtful answers!

A lot of people these days are trying to find the most efficient way to get rid of pesky blackheads and whiteheads. One option is to use a blemish extractor like the one dermatologists use. To give you an idea of how they work, I’ll explain the process from start to finish.

The first thing you absolutely need to do is get your pores opened up. There’s a few ways to do this. A popular option, is simply by taking a hot, steamy shower but not scalding of course. That’s the simplest option but if you don’t feel like taking a shower, you don’t have to. Instead, you can . Once the water is giving off enough steam you can either put the pan on a heat-safe surface or pour the water into a large container. Then put a towel over your head and hover your face a safe distance from the water until your face starts to sweat. The last way I’d recommend is to place a hot, wet towel over your face for a while, until you achieve the same effect as the pan steaming option.

So when I wear makeup, after maybe half the day I start getting a bit shinier (not gross but kind of like that… dewy look I guess) but then my nose gets SO oily. I have oily skin, although since using my Almay foundation my forehead has gotten less oily. I have blackheads on my nose, whiteheads AND a tiny bit of blackheads on my chin, and those two areas get affected the most from my over oilyness. Does anyone know if using a comedo extractor will help keep the skin from getting as excessively oily throughout the day while wearing foundation?
